Finebite began life in 2013 as Everytap — a beacon-powered loyalty app born in Gdańsk’s Starter incubator. By 2015 it ran in about a hundred Tricity venues, had over ten thousand active users, and attracted TVN Ventures, which took 40% in a cash-plus-media deal. Michał was involved strategically and financially from the company’s earliest days.
Then came the pivot that made the business: Everytap became Finebite, a restaurant platform with one sharp promise — book a table at an off-peak hour, get 50% off everything, leave a review. A decade in, it is still standing: 1,000+ partner restaurants, more than two million guests seated, apps updated as recently as June 2026.
Investment thesis
Empty tables are perishable inventory, and Poland’s dining-out market keeps growing. The company that turns dead hours into guaranteed traffic owns a repeatable, two-sided trade: yield for restaurants, discovery with a real discount for guests.
Michał’s role
